Chickenshed is offering 11 to 16 year olds the chance to attend a free workshop this summer which includes a performance of its production Crime Of The Century.
Running between 25 July and 3 August, the activity days will take place at Triangle Children’s Centre in South Tottenham and are based around the theme Young People – the real story.
Each session will begin with a performance of Crime Of The Century, a play portraying the build-up and repercussions of one fatal moment, using words, movement and projection, alongside a contemporary score of hip hop and dance music.
Following the performance there will be workshops allowing participants to talk about the issues raised in the play and offer advice on how young people can make their voices heard in their communities.
