Christmas has come early for theatregoers wanting to see new musical Elf, as a limited number of £30 tickets are soon to be released for the forthcoming festive show.
Led by TV talent show winner Ben Forster and Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh, Elf will bring Christmas cheer to audiences at London’s Dominion Theatre from 24 October.
Released due to overwhelming demand on social media, the £30 tickets aim to broaden the demographic that the show attracts, giving families and those who wouldn’t previously have been able to see the screen to stage adaptation a more affordable pricing option.
Based on the 2003 blockbuster starring Will Ferrell, Elf tells the story of Buddy, an orphan raised by elves who embarks on a journey to find his father after his poor toy-making abilities and cumbersome size leads him to realise that he isn’t, in fact, one of Santa’s little helpers.
The musical, which features a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin with music by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, will see Forster follow in the footsteps of Ferrell to take on the role of Buddy alongside a cast that also includes Joe McGann, Jessica Martin, Jennie Dale, Mark McKerracher and Graham Lappin.
Elf’s newly announced £30 tickets will be available from Sunday 6 September and can be purchased by calling the Dominion Theatre’s box office on 0845 200 7982 or by visiting the venue’s website. For Elf tickets at a range of other prices, you can book for the show through us.
