Each year the Olivier Awards takes a moment during the ceremony to remember those members of the London theatre community who have sadly passed away in the previous year.
In the gallery below we’d like to acknowledge members of the theatre community who have left us from 1 April 2022 through to 10 days before the Olivier Awards 2023.

It is with regret that only a certain number of individuals can be included in the film shown on the night of the ceremony due to time constraints of the broadcast. To be included on the night, the person must have done a significant body of work in Society of London Theatre member theatres in London. Being a past Olivier Award-winner will automatically lead to inclusion in the televised section.
