This mischievous yet hauntingly beautiful tale is based on James Stephens’s acclaimed 1912 novel, The Crock Of Gold. Stephens is one of the forgotten greats of Irish Literature, whose work has been favourably compared to his contemporaries such as Yeats, lewis Carroll and Edward Lear.
