Cruel’s acclaimed choreographer Colker created Brazil’s leading contemporary dance company Companhia de Dança Deborah Colker in Rio de Janeiro in 1994. Since then, the company has been hard at work innovating startling new dance languages, scenic elements and mixing dance technique with contemporary, everyday themes in performances staged all over the world.
