The award-winning Kneehigh Theatre presents Shakespeare’s twisty-turny romance.

Both of King Cymbeline’s sons are snatched at birth, and his daughter grows up to marry a man, Posthumous, of whom her father disapproves. Posthumous is banished, but believes Imogen, the king’s daughter, will stay faithful. When he is told otherwise, he plans his revenge. Imogen flees to Wales, pursued by the son of her wicked stepmother, where, upon taking shelter in a cave she is surprised by who else inhabits it.

The production was originally created for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Complete Works Festival, and is not recommended for under 12s.
