Developed by Alan Rickman and Katherine Viner from the writings of Rachel Corrie, My Name Is Rachel Corrie tells the tale of the short life and sudden death of the 23 year old who left her American life behind to put herself between a Palestinian home and an advancing bulldozer.
Rickman is one of the top Brits in Hollywood, starring in films such as Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Dogma, Love Actually and, most recently, the Harry Potter films. A graduate of RADA, although revered as a film star, Rickman’s theatre credits are also plentiful and include the highly acclaimed Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Private Lives.
