National Youth Ballet celebrates its silver jubilee with a programme of eight exceptional works including the world premiere of Jo Meredith’s 25, a piece commissioned to commemorate the successes of the company since its founding. Set to the joyous and lyrical music of Malcolm Arnold, 25 features an array of characters, from the company’s first ballet Pedro the Parrot through to the more recent Rainbow Bear.
Other works on the bill include Young Person’s Guide To The Orchestra, Ship Ahoy, Toad, Colour Crazy, Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes, Alumni and OMOL.
