The winner of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent competition, Lance Corporal Richard Jones, will guest star in West End magic show Impossible at the Noël Coward Theatre from July.
Having claimed the hearts of the nation with a bafflingly brilliant series of performances, becoming the first magician to win the popular television programme, Jones now joins the list of some of the world’s greatest illusionists taking to the West End stage for the mind-boggling magic show.
With a focus on subliminal influences, Jones’ acclaimed showmanship and ingenious illusions confounded Simon Cowell and co., thrilling live and broadcast audiences alike and culminating in a moving recounting of magic’s role in boosting morale during the Second World War.
Of the opportunity, Jones said “The past few weeks have been such a whirlwind! It is truly a dream come true to have won Britain’s Got Talent and now to be joining Impossible, in the heart of the West End, with such brilliant magicians. It is something I have always dreamt of.”
Jones will perform alongside world-class performers such as street conjurer Magical Bones, mind-reading specialist Chris Cox, daredevil escapologist Jonathan Goodwin, ‘vanishing boy’ Ben Hart and world record holder Josephine Lee.

It follows the tenancy of Mrs Henderson Presents at the St Martin’s Lane venue, with the Olivier Award-nominated musical concluding a well-received run on the 18 June.
