Thriller Live, the West End concert spectacular, today celebrates a remarkable 7000 performances worldwide, as it plays performances in both London and Edinburgh.
With the show simultaneously running at both the West End’s Lyric Theatre and on international tour – currently at Edinburgh’s Playhouse Theatre – the landmark represents an incredible 12 years for the celebratory production.
Producers Paul Walden and Derek Nicol said: “We are more than thrilled to reach this incredible milestone – very few shows have this longevity so we’d like to take a moment to say thanks to the fans that continue to celebrate Michael Jackson’s music and also to salute the hundreds of singers, dancers, musicians and backstage staff who have toured the world over the past 12 years as part of the Thriller Live family.”
Thriller Live is a non-stop concert of all of Michael Jackson’s biggest hits, sourced from a career that spanned the Jackson 5 to Thriller, the world’s best-selling album. The 13th longest-running musical in the West End, the show has visited 33 countries worldwide, and now celebrates 7000 performances.
Thriller Live is currently booking in the West End until 5 April 2020.
