The latest musical from Olivier and Tony Award winner John Caird, Daddy Long Legs tells the touching tale of an orphan and her anonymous benefactor.
Set in the early 1900s in New England, Daddy Long Legs is a vivid account of young orphan Jerusha Abbott as she grows and blossoms into a beautiful, intelligent and vivacious woman. Her benefactor gives her the opportunity to go to college with just one stipulation; she must write to him every month, even though he will not respond. Through her correspondence, he learns of her former life and her development in both mind and spirit.
Performers Megan McGinnis and Robert Adelman Hancock, who performed as part of the show’s award-winning US production, return to the show for the London production.
